  • vrmesh hold frames?

Hi I'd like to be able to "pause" a vrmesh-sequence for a couple of frames..and then continue with the sequence where it paused..
or is this already possible? how could i achieve it?

only thing i can think of now is duplicating, renaming the vrmesh sequence which is far from ideal ofcourse.

    cheers

Unfortunately there is no way to do this for the moment, except in the way that you have described.

it the vrmesh tied to the time node? for particle caches you can break that time node (which feeds the frame number of the scen to pull that number of the particle cache) and animate it.... maybe something like that would be cool? you may get stuttering depending on what your doing... but ???

        thoughts???

The proxy node is tied to the time node only to signal to Maya that it is dependent on the current frame so that the viewport preview can work properly. The node itself doesn't use the connection for anything.
