    We have Vray fur which growns geo fur out of a polygon. This Siggraph paper outlines a way to generate hair flow based on polygon topology (model the polygon and it renders hair along it, making it possible for a modeler to design complex hair styles). Any chance that we could get a Vray implementation of this? Pretty please?

    Why not talk to Cem Yuksel directly about this? He did the HairFarm plugin for 3ds Max; he might be interested in a Maya version.
