  • Sun & Sky - control sky colour

    Hi,
would it be possible to add an option to control the colour of the sky. I would like to be able to desaturate it.
A HSV type of controller would be nice.

I am asking this because the sky tend to give me too much blue in my GI.

    Thanks,

    Yannick

Hmm. I think I remember seeing a presentation by the chaos team where they did this. Pretty sure it is possible. But I do not have vray in front of me to look at what it might have been. Not sure if it was plugging the skyshader into an HSV controller and then into the environment/GI overrides. I could be making this up (dreaming).

You could pass the VRaySky texture through a Color Correction node and change its tint as needed.

          Hi Vlado,
do you mean between in the Environment tab in GI texture/Reflection texture...
          I'll give it a try.

          Thanks,

Yes, you can use a Remap HSV node or something similar.
