VRay RT + VRayScatter 4 Maya

Hi,

I'm pretty sure this may already be on your internal list of things to do.

But just posting a wishlist that VRayScatter for Maya could support RT.

I only post this this as I see on the latest Max release, 2.40.xx that Multiscatter supports RT now.

Just to update, it looks like if I enable "plugin geometry" (thanks chaos) it works, but even a primitive cube is all "corrupt".

Sorry for the late reply. I believe that this is just not supported in the RT at the moment and will not work properly. Sorry if this is bad news for you, hopefully it will be up and running sometime soon.

No need for apology, you guys do a terrific job! I just wish this on the wishlist, but I'm not sure who is responsible for development, the makers of VRayScatter or Chaos Group!

In any case it is no issue, just a bonus if this worked.

It actually works.
Just change Instancing Type to Node voilà.



I will notify our Developers Team about that and if the issue is on our side we will fix it - otherwise we will inform R&D Devs.
