Vray fur using n hair dynamics

Hi,
i would love to use v-ray fur the way i use normal maya fur, using the dynamics system from nucleus nhair.
See video for how its done in normal maya fur.
Bur vray fur is really nice.

I don't think the Maya API allows us to do that.

Why not just use maya nhair with vray? its almost the same thing no?

Also, while this simple tutorial is nice, I'd love to see a real world example of such setup
