Would it be possible to have opensubdiv supported in vray 2.0 core?

I'm using vray for maya 2.40
It would be great if opensubdiv can support this version of vray.
would it be possible? Thanks!

No, unfortunately it was quite a big change and it would be very difficult to back-port it to the 2.x builds. It was a bit tricky as we had to make sure that Ptex still works correctly as well.
