  • Progressive rendering: Write images to disk every nth minute

    Hey,

It would be so awesome to be able to open up an ongoing render in Nuke (with all passes and everything) ... and every nth the render passes gets refined, with V-Ray overwriting the previous images with the refined ones. When the render is complete it overwrites the images for the last time.

You'd just have to reload the Read nodes in Nuke to see the refined renders as the same image files are being overwritten again and again...

    What do you think?

Yes, this is on the "to do" list. I suppose you want an OpenEXR image?

    Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

      Yes, please!

We usually render out one EXR per render element.
