  • vraydenoiser for Nuke 10.5

    Hi!
I just recognized that your vrayDenoiser for Nuke plugin is not compatible with Nuke 10.5, it seems. Maybe you could prvide a new build for that Nuke version?
    Thanks!

Are you using the denoiser with V-Ray for Nuke?

          Is it an official build?

Nope. Some mid-January version. I know that asking for support on not-yet released stuff is not very cool, but I just wanted to point it out

The issue is that Nuke 10.0 plugins are not compatible with Nuke 10.5.
However we'll be releasing soon an update for the denoiser with support for 10.5 as well as other improvements.

Sounds great, thanks a lot. (We're currently running a project on a very tight deadline - could you give some kind of roadmap for this?)

Yeah. But I think recompiling the plugins against 10.5 wouldn't be too hard, no?

No, it's not that hard; I hope Georgi will manage to get the builds out soon.

                        Best regards,

Great as always, thanks a lot! Will you post an update when it's finished? Thanks!

And another thing: Would it be possible not to strip all channels after the denoiser node?

Did you try version 1.4? It should propagate the input channels through the denoiser node.

                              Hi
I'm not completely sure about this: does it work for Nuke 10.5 or not?
I've copied the plugin to the plugins folder of Nuke, as described in the readme, but I get no Vray tools in Nuke.

                              Regards,
                              Thomas
