I guess the devs at Chaos would need to weigh in here on that as far as feasibility. I can only speak as a user. But, sure I'd welcome a super amazing shader. Who wouldn't
Broadly speaking, Thunderloom is really only for fabrics with small threads, which is what we find on common fabrics like cotton, denim, polyester, etc. It is not suitable for fabrics like sweaters or corduroy which have large threads/yarns. So you can make shirts and pants and fabric for an IKEA couch, but not a fuzzy sweater or a wool blanket like in your above image.
