We want to thank you for the continuous interest in our products. Chaos strives to deliver innovative products that create value for our customers, great user experience, and outstanding final results. To keep up with this product development some products eventually reach their natural end of life.
Chaos is gradually phasing out V-Ray for Modo, starting with discontinuing the sales on our online store and further product development. To ensure the transition is as smooth as possible, we will continue to offer support for V-Ray for Modo for an additional year (12 months) until its end of support on December 31, 2022.
End of Sales & Maintenance
December 20, 2021
This is the date as of which V-Ray for Modo will no longer be available for purchase from our online store. Licenses will remain available for purchase from Chaos Resellers until January 20, 2022.
End of Sales is also aligned with End of Maintenance. We will no longer offer build maintenance and updates. However, builds will still be available on the Chaos download section until the End of Support phase - December 31, 2022. Chaos will also continue to offer technical support for another 12 months until the End of Support phase.
End of Support

The End of Support marks the date after which V-Ray for Modo will no longer receive technical support, and when builds will no longer be available for download.
You may continue to use the product after the end of support, however any problems reported will not be taken into consideration by the Chaos team.
Product Licensing after End of Maintenance
Your existing V-Ray for Modo product will continue to operate as normal for the length of your license, with perpetual licenses working in perpetuity. Active V-Ray Collection licenses will continue to enable V-Ray for Modo until December 31, 2022.
We want to make this process as transparent as possible to all our customers and partners, enabling them to plan for any work-in-progress projects and guide them toward suitable support processes. If you have any questions or concerns how this may affect you, please reach out to our support who will be able to assist you and offer a suitable solution.
