I have changed how the channels in the "Map parameters" roll-out of the V-Ray Bercon textures work.
This roll-out is now gone, and these channels are shown only in the Schematic.
If no texture is connected to them, they won't affect the rendering at all.
So, if you have old scenes where one of these parameters is set to something different than a completely white color,
new builds will change how the Bercon texture is rendered.
I've made this change, because the underlying implementation is more efficient, when these parameters are not used.
For example, a simple scene with Bercon noise used for the density of a V-Ray Environment Fog, rendered in 12s with
this optimization, and in 20s without it.
This change will be in the nightly build from tomorrow (2015-06-16).
