I'm using an image as a bump map and notice the edge of the image is showing in the bump (see left image). You can see from the images edge (image on the right) is in the same spots when I set the image to diffuse color. I'm just wondering if there is setting to fix that or do I have to go with a transparent png.

Do you have the horizontal/vertical repeat in the Texture Locator set to "Reset" ?
Maybe setting it to "Edge" will help solve this issue, but I am not sure.
