VRay RT and Metal

Hi,

As it seems Nvidia is cutting off MacOS, is there any slight chance of seeing VRay RT supporting AMD cards via Metal? I guess I know the answer, just asking to be sure...

There are webdriver for most GPU and for most macOS version, and according to Nvidia support they are working with Apple for bringing support for the latest OS, in the mean while if you dont use RTX cards and you are not on Mojave you should be fine using CUDA. Last time I've asked about Metal support this was the answer: "All we can say about Metal is that if it turns out to provide solutions for any of these problems at some point, we will look at it for sure", it was an year ago.

You never know. "It's just not in the newest current version and will be upgraded" were as well famous last words about Floppies and Flash on Macs...

To be honest I'm quite happy we don't have floppy and Flash anymore, all the industry get rid of them for many good reasons
