  • Modo Node Color Correct inside Shader Tree

    Hello Vladimir,

is it possible to implement a Vray version of Modos Color Correct Node? I really like this curve approach for color correction and it works in Vray of course, but it is really annoying since it doesnt exist inside the shader tree. ThereĀ“s the possibility to that with DriverA and Gradient, but a simple curve node would be much easier.

Anyone who watches these Grant Warwick Videos would probably love to have a curve node inside the shader tree

    thanks

    Hi Christian
I followed along with all Grant Warick videos, let me know if you need help with something
Modo's color correct node has a curve, but It doesn't work on GPU
I use the gradient texture inval for that, works nicely here. Personally I rely on nodal shading for all my materials, just like hypershade or slate editor in Maya/Max
The workflow is very similar and even better because of the controls you have in the gradient editor.

Thanks a lot Muhammed! Didnt know about that, it works like a charm!
I hope the shematic gets a little more polished and documented so that its actually nicer to be in there
