  • Getting Rid of the Progress Bar

    Hi guys!

Would it be technically possible to get entirely rid of the progress bar popping up every time you render anything? It's always popping up in places where I don't need it plus it always steals the focus of other windows e.g. when you try to switch framebuffers in the VFB. I have to click 4 or more times before the framebuffer switcher stays open and allows me to actually switch to another buffer.

    Thanks
    Steffen

There is a hidden preference for this, type the following command : "user.value vray.sys.useModoMonitor false"
It will be saved to your MODO cfg file, so if you want the old behavior, you need to run the command with "true".
Note that it will disable the progress bar for all tasks - key-frame export, writing of vrmesh files to disk, etc.

Hopefully we can fix this at some stage, but it may require changes from the MODO team. Sometimes it steals the focus,
sometimes it works fine, I don't know what triggers it.
