One way to use MODO's procedural textures in V-Ray would be to bake them as image maps on disk.
You can use the "Bake to Selected Texture" command to achieve this. Once the image file is baked, you need to save it, so V-Ray can read it from disk. http://modo.docs.thefoundry.co.uk/mo...l#bake2texture
I think Maxwell does this baking automatically, but I can't get it to work, it always gives me an error.
In any case this kind of baking is not efficient as it will generate the whole texture even though rendering might need only a small portion of it.
Also it will not work for 3D UV mappings.
