how to hide items from render cam

I need a few items to be hidden from the camera but adding an item shader does not work in Vray.
Is there a way to do it in the current vray version?

It will work for a Shader in the shader tree. Just add a mask for the item, put it above the Base Shader, add the item's material and a new shader under the mask, and turn off "Visible to Camera".
