V-Ray metadata in MODO Scenes

Hi Vladimir,

When I share MODO Scenes with other Artists who don´t have V-Ray for MODO installed, they complain getting some "Unknown Item Type" Error messages.
Is it possible to have additionally a "Remove ALL Vray Packages" Button else one has to remove all Packages one by one before sending the scene.

You can run the following command "vray.package operation:remove scope:all packageType:all". It removes all V-Ray packages from all items in the scene.
I can probably add it to the V-Ray Menu, under "Remove package".
You can also disable the automatic adding of V-Ray packages from the Preferences. Note that rendering a scene with V-Ray will add render and light settings packages, even if the automatic adding for them is disabled.

Note that this command doesn't affect V-Ray specific items - like the V-Ray materials/textures/proxy. They will still generate the "Unknown Item Type" Error message.
