I can't license V-Ray for modo

I have the VRLService configured to get a dongle license for Maya/Sketchup from a server and when I install V-Ray for modo, I don't get any prompt to enter a license like I got before. Am I missing something? I tried setting the license back to localhost and reinstalling but I don't get the dialog prompt and I don't see any OS X app to install the activation manually.

I just installed the newest VRL Service from the site and if I try to launch it, it gives me a warning that the dongle wasn't detected and quits. I tried deleting the .ChaosGroup folder from ~/ and reinstalling but that didn't fix it.

Most importantly the online license server is the one under V-Ray License Server 4.0 Beta (x64).

If you have a dongle server with Maya/Sketchup licenses on another machine, but want to have your V-Ray for MODO license only locally, you can tell the Change V-Ray License Settings utility to use localhost as Alternate license server,
and leave Primary License Server as you had it before.

This makes me believe you used software license before, which means you probably don't have V-Ray for Modo licenses on your dongle at all.

ok - I got it working. I was an idiot and didn't grab the beta VRL Server. Works great. Thanks.
