  • Animation?

Seems a little confusing. How does one setup animation and choose where to save out frames?

I went to render and it was at the default 1 to 120 frames. The only way I found to change it was by doing a modo animation render changing frames and choosing the save place then canceling the render. That caused vray to pick up the new frame range but I have no clue where its saving to or if the animation is even saving as there are no saved frames.... anywhere.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Also there seemed to be no documentation on this.

You set the animation range in the Render item. I will eventually add an option to override it, when starting an animation render, like MODO has.

The image gets saved in the file specified by the Final Color Ouput of the scene.
There should be only one of these, or the current code might get confused. I need to improve it to ignore Final Color Ouput items that are under masks, or don't have an output file name specified.

Ah okay pretty simple when you know where vray is looking! Thanks for the fast reply.
