I'm quite excited to try the VBAS method of sampling now available in Max. I've always used the Grant Warwick workflow for setting up sampling parameters, which works, but it takes time to go through materials and lights one by one. The new sampler looks super slick, I'll be curious to see how much custom setup it can alleviate while also speeding up my renders. Any news on when we can expect to see some of these features make their way into Vray for Modo?
