  • Zoom factor in VFB

    Hello,

The title is pretty explicit is it possible to get visible the current zoom factor in the VFB GUI ? Displayed as in percentage of the original image size would be great ( 50/100/200/400% etc.)

    Thank you

We need to figure out where exactly to put it.
You can use the "*" on the numeric keyboard to quickly bring the zoom back to 100%.
See here for a list of useful shortcuts in the VFB : http://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/V...r-VFBShortcuts

Maybe in the VFB window title, like in the 3ds Max version if I remember correctly ?

Also, I wanted to warn you about the Pixel Information window which is way too big regarding the amount of text.

Name:	Capture.PNG
Views:	1
Size:	58.3 KB
ID:	859648

Finally, this window appears in the upper left corner of my main screen while the VFB on the 2nd screen. Is it a normal behavior ?

That's how it works in MODO 701/801 where the VFB is a separate window.
In MODO 901 the VFB is always docked in some MODO window, so that's not possible most likely.

This is a bug we need to look at, the window gradually increases in size for some reason.

Might be normal, but certainly doesn't sound very convenient. You can use the icon with "i" at the bottom toolbar to make the pixel info window sticky and then move it where you want.
But it seems to be reset when switching between scenes.

Well, maybe with on a line in the Pixel Information window ? I'm not a developer and have no experience in coding software but maybe it's an convenient solution, since there is already some variables displayed in this window ?

I did that but yes, the window position is resetted when opening a new scene.
