  • How to use Double Sided in Shader Tree and how to save out as material Preset

    Hi Guys,

how do I use the double sided material in the shader tree? I looked at the help but it did not illustrate how to go about it.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan

For now you cannot construct 2sided material via shadertree if the submaterial need to be textured. You have to do it in schematic view.

Yes, kubbek is correct. It is on the TODO list to allow specifying the 2-sided, blend, etc sub-materials as whole groups from the Shader Tree.

If you are saving a preset of the material, it is best to have all of its nodes as part of its group in Shader Tree, and not as part of the generic "Nodes" folder, as otherwise MODO might not save the preset correctly.
