Batch Render

is it possible to batch render?

The closest thing to a batch render (from Maya) is the Render with V-Ray Standalone command in the V-Ray menu.
It will export a .vrscene representation of your MODO scene and then start rendering it with V-Ray Standalone in a separate process.
Meanwhile, you can continue working on the scene in MODO.
