I've found a few older threads from a couple months ago saying baking isn't currently supported, just wondering if this is being worked on and when you think it'll be available to test? Also, if there are maybe some modo-based workarounds I could use like projecting a camera to the UV map (not sure if that's possible), that would be totally sufficient. I'd like to be able to bake some complex hair down into some simpler mesh strips, and V-Ray renders it so much nicer and faster than the built-in renderer. Thanks!

Texture/render output baking ETA or workaround?

Which MODO version do you need it for, because when I do it, it will use the new Baking items/process introduced in MODO 10.0.
So baking with V-Ray in earlier versions of MODO won't be supported.

Hi Vladimir,
Thanks for your reply regarding the texture baking! I've recently upgraded to Modo 10 so that's really good to hear you may be supporting it. Its super handy for game developers as we bake a large amount of light maps and I would much prefer to use vray over modo's native renderer.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Vladimir,
I´m really glad that you´re on itWill Vray support Round Corner baking when it comes? The Round Corners of Vray seem to be superior to the one´s in the Modo Renderer.
Thanks again for your effort! Its really appreciated!
Christian V.
