  • Exporting .vrscene without rendering?

I know I can use the standalone render option, tell it to keep the vrscene file, then cancel the render, but could we have a convenience button for export only? Basically the same thing, just no launching and canceling of the standalone renderer. This would make it easier to batch things or send them to a cloud-based render service. Thanks!

    Hi lopar,

Thank you for the post. You can easily export vrscene file as use an export option. You can find that in the "File" menu -> "Export As ...".

      We will also add:

      - a separate "Export .vrscene" command with compression and some other options ( it will be near "Import .vrscene" in the V-Ray menu)
      - an option to the "Render with V-Ray Standalone" command to not start the .bat/.command file after export is done (this was requested in another thread as well).
