  • Running RT and switching between scenes question.

For me, the fact that I can switch between scenes with RT still running is actually not a good idea, as sometimes I forget to turn off RT when switching between them, and then have to wait for RT to load the new scene and start rendering.

I'd prefer it didn't do this, and that when switching it turned off RT, or maybe just kept the other scene rendering.

How do other people feel about this though?

I can easily add an option for this, something like "Stop RT when another scene is selected"

or maybe just kept the other scene rendering.
That will be a bit more complicated. RT stores some pointers to MODO objects, which I think become invalid when you switch to another scene, so I will have to update my code to handle this.

            Thanks Vladimir!

Could Pause work or is that the same issue as letting it just continue to render as is during a scene switch?
