Just curious as to why Denoiser doesn't work with Adaptive Subdivision DMC?

Why doesn't it work with this sampling method? Are there any plans to have it work with it someday?

The subdivision sampler has no good way to compute the "noise level" render element for the moment. It can be done in priciple, but it is more work that I'm not sure is justified.
