I couldn't find the VrLense tool, guess its windows only, but is there a database for known cameras?

Do you mean the V-Ray Lens Effects - Filter Generator tool that's used with the Glare Effect in the VFB ?
Yes that's not included in the Mac version, we actually have it compiled for Mac, but it seems it has some bugs.

Or do you mean the tool that generates .vrlens files for use by the lens distortion in the V-Ray Physical Camera ?
Because that's included, the executable is called lens_analyzer.bin.

      1. Oh yeah that one is useful too.
      2. Thats what I was thinking off, how to open a bin file? However I was asking if there are some samples or a sample database.. like Photoshop uses etc.

You can start it by right clicking on it then Open With... -> Other and choose Terminal.app.
We need to remove the .bin extension, so Finder will do this automatically when you double click on the tool.
I will log it as a bug.

Sorry, I am not aware of any database. You can read the help about the tool here : https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...+lens_analyzer
