  • Reflection color Falloff

    I just found out that V-Ray ignores Reflection color falloff in all materials. I mean the color falloff toward white on incident angle.
    It doesn't do that in Modo, V-Ray and alShader... Isn't that a bit old school?
    I understand backward compatibility in V-Ray shader but the other two should support it, or?
    Same thing for Energy Conservation. I can do both with falloffs.. but at least the physical correct Modo shader should support that in V-Ray.

    Yes, for the MODO material, I have it logged for fixing, and it's even fixed in a WIP version. But it will be fixed for version 3.50 at the earliest.

    For alSurface, I think this behavior depends on the Fresnel mode switch, which is not yet implemented.
