Spread angle

Hi,

I try to use VRay GPU. In modo if you change spread angle of the direct ligth you get soft shadow if the angle is higher than 0.
On Vray rt Cpu it's ok, you can do the same. But on RT GPU I can't succeed to do it. So I tried with a vray sun, and it's totaly broken, I can't change anything. (Maybe I'm broken)

Actually I want to compare Octane and Vray to know who feet to me better. Because I want a gpu workflow

Does in Vray 3.5 RT GPU for MODO direction light gonna be all supported?
Need direct light and spread angle.

Thank your for the feedback, keep running. The V-Ray RT GPU at this stage does not support spread angle from a directional light. Meanwhile, you can achieve the result with RT GPU as use V-Ray Sun/Sky. Check the file with my workflow https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B30...ew?usp=sharing

hope spread angle gonna be support in few update. VraySun is less good, because it change the color of the scene.

Hi,

Does spread angle gonna be add to direct light in Vray Rt GPU soon?
I don't really like vray sun. It's parameters for nothing because I never work on architectural scene.
