  • Installing Standalone for different Apps

I have Vray for C4d installed with the Standalones for DR. I'm also planning on installing the two Standalones that came with my Vray for Modo.
Are any issues or problems with installing the Standalones for these applications on the same machines?
    Thanks.

If you install V-Ray for MODO, its installation contains V-Ray Standalone, no need to install anything separately.
The default location for it is :
    - Windows - C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\MODO x64\vraysl
    - macOS - /Applications/ChaosGroup/V-Ray/MODO_x64/vraysl

When rendering with DR from V-Ray for MODO, make sure to connect to a slave that is running V-Ray Standalone from the V-Ray for MODO installation.

If you need to use a slave for DR from MODO/Cinema4D/etc at the same time, you will have to start the different V-Ray Standalone versions on different ports and specify this in the V-Ray DR settings in each DCC app.
