  • VRay Render Boolean in MODO

    Hi

I'm a new set to VRay, and can't wait to get up and running with it.

Im aware that in MODO you can do a Render Boolean, and wondered if I can do the equivalent in VRay? Im aware that the MODO Redner Boolean functionality is not supported by VRay, but is there a workaround that anyone has?

This is particularly useful for car seams/doors etc

    Many thanks!

V-Ray Clipper does that job for you in V-Ray for MODO. Not supported yet by V-Ray RT GPU

It's not in the 3.5 nightly builds yet? Wonder when we'll get it. At least we know it's possible soon!

It's in the V-Ray for MODO nightlies, but mesh mode is not supported, this is a limitation of the GPU core, not specific to MODO.
So you can't use it to replace the Render Booleans.
