  • v-ray physical camera missing in modo?

I am just started to really learn v-ray and am taking a v-ray course where the files are done in 3d max and ported to modo. In these files when I select the camera there is a tab "V-Ray Physical Camera" that has all the traditional camera controls in it. If I add a new camera to the scene this tab is not visible when the new camera is selected. I have disabled all kits and configs and still no change in that tab showing up. Is this not an option in modo and somehow is coming over from v-ray?

    notice the tab

The V-Ray Physical Camera package is something you add manually.
You can do it from the V-Ray menu, V-Ray toolbar or V-Ray toolbox.
The docs page has more information and screenshots : https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...amera+Settings
You need to have the camera selected when adding the package.

There is also an option in the Preferences, to auto-add this package when rendering with V-Ray or the first time you select the camera.
