V-Ray 3.5 and Modo official release?...

Wondering when the official 3.5 version for Modo will be released? Also wondering if V-Ray materials will find their way in to the Modo Presets browser?

We are preparing the release at the moment, so hopefully it will be fairly soon.

I haven't done the conversion of the .vrmat library to MODO preset materials yet, sorry about that.
Not sure when I will have time for this. But in any case it will be a separate download on the site, not part of the V-Ray for MODO installation.

Great news regarding the new release coming soon. Vladimir is there anything the Modo community can do to help you get the .vrmat library converted to Modo preset materials? Volunteers perhaps?

I could use a MODO scene with which to render out the thumbnails.
Maybe even several for different types of materials - one for 2-sided materials, one for floors, one for everything else.
Otherwise I would have to make the scene myself and it might not be pretty.
