  • 3.6 and Texture Mapping

I'm tinkering around with the 3.6 build that showed up on the nightlies and have noticed that box/cubic mapping don't appear to be working; it just leaves a blank texture instead of showing the image that should be mapped to the object. User error, or something still forthcoming in 3.6 for Modo?

    Hey Jason,

Thank you for the feedback. Can you show me the scene or texture or send the scene file? Box or Cubic UV mapping should be render withotu issue with RT CPU/Bucket as well and It's not implemented in GPU yey. For more information please check the info here : https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...+Compatibility

      Cheers,

Ah, V-Ray is working well... It appears to have been user error on my part. Sorry about that! Just a quick question about hybrid rendering though -- is it functional for production rendering? Sorry for the basic question; I'm still a novice user.

Only through the Render with V-Ray Standalone command, just like regular GPU rendering.
