  • Well, Vray for Modo, BIG problems.

I just get a dump of fail functions and files in Modo. Its weird. I reinstalled it, but still same case scenario.

Looks like the installer couldn't set the V-Ray for Modo install path environment variable for some reason (probably insufficient access right?). Setting it manually should fix the issue. Here's a screenshot of the variable on my system for reference: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/EnvVar.png

Hey Miroslav, thank you. I will look into this. It has to be something like that, if the paths are screwed up, but I really didnt have a clue it could be in the system variables. I have to change that. You are awesome.

Well, it seems you have V-Ray and Modo incompatibility with version ( e.g. Modo 12.1 with V-Ray 3.5). You can download the latest release from here https://download.chaosgroup.com/?pla...adv&product=47 and don't worry trial period is extended for 30 days even you're used before this time.

Hey! The variables are set for the same path as you. There is no change there. The install is on that path in file. So this couldnt be the problem.

thanks Boyan. I reinstalled it and now its up and running. It must have been a renegade file extension problem. But its fine now.
