Yes, the original crash you reported is fixed.
It happens when you have both rounded edges and a V-Ray Dirt texture in a material.
I've ported the fix to our 3.7 branch and it should be fixed there for the 2019.02.19 nightly builds.
Note that using a V-Ray Blend Material or Shader items, would be more efficient than using a group mask, specifically for V-Ray GPU.
