  • Frame buffer lag on using OCIO

    Hi,

Using OCIO in Vray's frame buffer in Modo, it gets very lagy when panning the view. See here,

    https://youtu.be/mqMfSX_M3fc

This doesn't happen in other Vray plugins, can this be improved somehow? or is there a workaround?
I can attach the EXR I used if needed. Let me know

    Best,
    Muhammed

What build are you using for V-Ray for Modo, Maya, Houdini ?

Are you sure both the image size and all OCIO settings are exactly the same ?

        4.3 builds for all
Vray for Modo nightly build >> 25th of April
Vray for Houdini nightly build >> 7th of April (nightly branch)
Vray for Maya build >> Not sure, but it is from end of March (stable branch)

I can test again with latest nightlies for all, if needed.
I've pointed the VFB in all 3 to the same folder, it is the exact same .vrimg file

With Modo the CPU usage goes very high when I start panning the view.

Yes it is the exact same settings and the same .vrimg file, In all Vray plugins I set color corrections to be loaded automatically in History when I click on an Image.
