With V-Ray not updating since month, I wonder if it will be updated to Modo 15.0 ?

I hope that the Chaos guys are waiting for the Fondry guys.
Meanwhile, the guys at Foundry are cooking up a solid Update with amazing performance.
And already in May-June we will get V-Ray 5 with all the latest updates.

Will CC was never good in understanding the market. Currently many Modo users have switch to V-Ray and yeah, you can stop them using it, then they will likely move over to Blender and never ever use V-Ray anymore. CC hasn't understood that the user like a render, but not necessary stay in the same software. Redshift and Octane have understood that the users stick to a render engine and do not bother which host the user uses. They even can share shaders across platform, while V-Ray has very limited amount of procedurals. There biggest competitor Corona is now in there hand, leaving just Arnold. But Arnold has already pushed them out of Maya in many studios. Time to wake up. Don't think Vantage will be a huge success. Unreal is progressing much faster and people rather get the full power then the mini version.Comment
