Today V-Ray couldn't obtain the licens. Yesterday it was working.

Today out of nowhere I got this message when I hit "render with v-ray":

Could not obtain a licence (-9
Exception [module=1] : Clearing direct light manager.

Yesterday it was working like a charm. The usb stick works as I checked it with V-Ray for Rhino.

We've got at least one other user complaining about the same thing. I think the beta licenses for V-Ray for MODO for people with dongles expired today.
Just ask support [at] chaosgroup [dot] com. They should be able to extend it for you.
