light material transparency

Did the light material transparency broke somewhere? I am trying a bitmap for transparency chanel on a light material but simply cannot get it to work?
I am sure it worked in previous builds of vray.

You need to check Multiply by Opacity in the V-Ray light material.
The material is transparent but it is still emitting light, where you want to completely see the background.
