installed V-Ray 3.4 (I used beta) now i get Error code -200

Installed Vray for MODO, installation succeeded. Now when I try to render anything it says "V-Ray could not initializ UI License, error code is : -200"
Any idea what the issue is? I installed all the V-Ray beta versions in the same way and had no issues for MODO 901, 902 and 10.0.

Please verify that the license server is running on this machine and the license settings are correctly set.

Just spotted this after having the same problem.
I contacted support@chaosgroup.com and after a few emails bouncing back and forward, someone logged in via TeamViewer and sorted in a few minutes.

Hello, just responding to this thread again. So I was able to solve my issue. It was a license server issue. For anyone who runs into this issue, here are the steps I used.
- Open whatever browser you use and go to http://server:30304 in your Web browser, where server is the name or IP address of the machine running the license server (use localhost if it's the same machine)
- Go to settings and there will be three options near the bottom. "Activate," "Borrow," and "Advanced"
- Under activate there are two options, one to do an online activation and one to do an offline activation. Click on the online activation and it should send you to a new site where you can registar your machine. I didnt have full access so i had to use the other option.
- For the offline option, go to the section under activate, it is on the right side. download the csr file then go to my.chaosgroup.com
- There you give the name of your PC Worksation, you can find that information by going to your control panel > system and security > system. In there you will see; near the center of that page, computer name: (whatever the name of your computer is). Click on activate workstation. A new box will pop up, you upload the csr file, this will show you have a legit copy of vray, then when it uploads; also don't panic it can take a little time for it to go through, then type in your computer name. Then it will show up on that main my chaosgrop page. Download the new crt file it created.
- go back to the license server and under activate, go back to offline activation. Now upload the new crt file that was made.
- Wait a few moments then the page will refresh and your machine will now be active.
- Now launch the V-Ray License Server shortcut button, go into MODO and give it a test render.
- If that works, to double check, shut down your machine then restart. Go back into MODO and give it another go. If it works you are golden. If you are still having issues e-mail support@chaosgroup.com and they will get back to you ASAP. IF they dont get back to you in a 24 hour period. Just resend your email, it happens. Hope this helps
