V-Ray could not intialize UI License -198

Hello,
Yesterday my Vray worked perfectly fine. After a Anniversary update for win 10 and the installation of Bitdefender i got a error message:
V-Ray could not intialize UI License -198
Somebody an idea? I reinstalled it already, the online license tool too.

Did you have any licenses borrowed ? Can you check what the license server page shows here : http://localhost:30304/#/

No. There is no license borrowed and i could not if i would borrow one:

Are your V-Ray for MODO licenses on the dongle or online ?

If they are online licenses, were they borrowed before you upgraded Windows ?

If they are online licenses, they might have gotten stuck in engaged mode, something only support can fix at the moment.
That's what it looks like in the screen-shot, the UI licenses says engaged, although you are probably not rendering.

A cool. Yeah it was borrod before the update. Ok thanks for the info, i wrote a mail to the support team.

Most likely the Windows update changed some of the stuff that we rely on to identify the machine.
We are working on improving this, so the problem doesn't happen, when simply updating Windows. It was discussed in another thread.

If anyone else is reading this, make sure to unborrow your online licenses, before making hardware changes or big Windows updates.

It is a national holiday here today, and tomorrow is a day off, so I am not sure anyone will be on support duties until Monday.
You may have to wait until then to have the licenses dis-engaged, sorry about this.

Np. I use the Modo Renderer instead. I like Vray more but its ok.
