Newb question, do we need to install the nightly build on render nodes / slaves as well to use it? Anything I need to know about that or install as usual? Thanks!

If you don't update the render nodes you will get mixed buckets in such cases.

Vladimir, I know you have a lot to do, but how difficult would be to make Vray auto update when network rendering?
You already have most tools ready, so a version query before rendering and then copy the latest libs wouldn't be so difficult.. I know that feature from a net render solution and it works like a charm.

It has more features than what you described, I think.

Hi Vladimir,
I downloaded vray_beta_30007_modo_mavericks_x64_SOFTWARE_LIC from the nightly page which is dated June, but I get an error message "This program requires superuser privileges. You should either run it as root, or use 'sudo' to run it. I am not that knowledgable to approach loading an installer as indicated. So I re downloaded "vray_adv_34001_modo_mavericks_x64-2.dmg"and reinstalled vray it loads in modo 10.1 but still not in 10.2.
How do I get it available in 10.2?

File name for Mac is vray_adv_34002_modo_mavericks_x64_26991.rar. The V-Ray for MODO version is 3.40.02 (34002 in the file name) and the build number is 26991.
