  • Broken links in modo docs tutorial content

I just tried downloading the content in the modo docs and some of the links appear to be broken.

The following pages link to assets which can't be downloaded:

    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...kStart+-+Intro
    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...rt+-+Rendering
    https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...l+Illumination

Is this page is supposed to have any downloadable files? The text implies some scene example.

          Hey, Chabb

Thank you for the feedback. Nope, We don't have assets or scenes with V-Ray Volume Material.

          Cheers,

Well you might want to remove the text and link that says "The scene for the third image is available here"

The example scene would be good in this case. I had to search a proper combination of settings to get godrays effect, which is easily obtained with native modo renderer.

                Hey, All

Thank you for the posts. The doc page will be fixed, thanks. About the scene file, let me see what can I do to replicate it and share with you. Meanwhile, the God rays effect can be achieved with Volume material and V-Ray Environment Fog as well. Keep you posted.

                Cheers

Yes, I agree with you. MODO add volumetric light easily but when we speak for speed and render quality I think V-Ray has the advantage. When we speak to God rays other advantage in V-Ray is freedom. You can add whenever and whatever fog base on geometry and light.

                  Scene file is here: https://my.pcloud.com/publink/show?c...hX2hfop5kt4hb7
