  • V-Ray RT GPU -> Problems with small meshes

I've run into a problem when using 3.5 and small meshes:

When you scale the mesh, the problems disappear. Even when deleting one of the smaller edgeloops the problem, at least in this area, is gone as well. I've enclosed a simple scene to show the issue

Is it better in a regular render? Does it make a difference if you turn Embree on or off?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

With V-Ray RT-CPU as well as Production render it works like a charm. This problem only occurs when using GPU-rendering. I've turned off Embree as well just to check, but didn't have any effect.

Another thing I've realized is that when using the denoiser and having a render-region selected, once I change some value the VFB jumps to the "Effects Result" renderoutpup instead of keeping the "RGB color" that was previously active.

This should be fixed in the 2017.04.08 nightly build.
Turns out it was a regression in the 3.5 GPU core compared to the 3.4 version.
