Crash creating new scene while RT is running

I've been getting this randomly when other kits are enabled but havent been able to track down which combination of kits is causing it.

I found a way to get the crash with v-ray alone, but only when I have visual studio (community 2015) attached to modo.exe

It seems to be some kind of timing problem with VFB history saving

MODO 10.2v2a 133585
V-Ray 3.50.01 27331

1. Start modo with a no configs (temporarily move or delete your AppData\Roaming\Luxology\MODO10.2.CFG)
2. Go to the render v-ray layout and click the "H" history button to open the side panel
3. Click the enable history button (top left), set a history directory (I use G:\temp), enable auto save, then OK
4. Close modo (it will now save a MODO10.2.CFG in your AppData\Roaming\Luxology)
5. Start modo and go to the render v-ray layout
6. Run visual studio and attach it to modo.exe
7. Start RT
8. Press ctrl+n repeatedly (quickly) to make new scenes

RESULT: Modo crashes

If I run v-ray only, I'm not seeing the crash, so it must be related to another kit conflicting with RT in some way. Sorry for the false alarm.

I have updated the steps, because I managed to get this crash with v-ray alone, but only when visual studio is attached to it

For now I'm disabling VFB History auto save, and the crashes seem to have stopped.

So it seems to be related to auto save

For me the best way to render is the Standalone function. If something happened, the crash is on the vray.bin or terminal window and MODO is still alive...To be free as 100% CPU, and can be used for extra work like new scene etc. this PC which is the mine or local, need to be not used in the rendering process and you still can see the result just Standalone DR rendering without the local machine for rendering. And the work can continue and the rendering also can run.

The crash caused by the history auto-save should be fixed in the 2017.05.27 nightly build.
