Silhouette like issue

I looked in this forum I could not find the topic I may have been in error if so do forgive the lack of skills from a newb to these forums. Anyways I just downloaded the trial version of V-Ray and I have run into an issue. The issue is when I render I get a render with no textures, no light, just a black outline of the model. It would be a black screen if not for an HDRI in the background. Not quite sure the problem. I have changed textures, texture types, messed with v ray light settings turned my lights up to 9999 and even higher nothing. I am pretty sure it is probably a check box my luck, I kinda miss the obvious sometimes. The issue I know does not persist across render engines thusly. This was after all a test render of render engines Octane, Modos default, and V-Ray.

Might be best to include an image so, will do.

Can you check if you have the "Shader" item missing from the shader tree list and add it if it is (Add layer > Special > Shader).
