  • vrscene reference and V-Ray clipper

I am working with a complicated scene that was split to vrscenes and put together as vrscene references. It turned out that it doesn't work well with V-Ray clipper. It is being cut but doesn't respect the exclude/include list and is always cut. Any chance to get it working? The clipper still has also the problem with replicators not working with the exclude/include list.

    Cheers,
    Jakub

Seems to be working for me on a simple scene. Can you send me an example where it doesn't work (or attach it here).

The clipper still has also the problem with replicators not working with the exclude/include list.
I have this logged but it is a serious change to the core code that handles the include/exclude lists.

Hi Vladimir, I send you an email with an example as the models come from the client and I cannot publish them.

      Thanks,
      Jakub

Thanks for the scene, I was trying something else, that's why it worked for me.
The .vrscene and Replicator issues are related actually, in both cases multiple objects are generated, which need to be excluded.

Both issues should be fixed in the 2017.08.31 nightly build, but only for CPU rendering.
